Southworth Chrysler of New Milford Connecticut helped raise over $11,000 for the New Milford Lions and New Milford Visiting Nurse Golf Outing through Chryslers popular charity golf program the Art of Driving Charity Golf Benefit."

(PRWEB) January 7, 2005 -- Southworth Chrysler of New Milford Connecticut helped raise over $11,000 for the New Milford Lions and New Milford Visiting Nurse Golf Outing through Chryslers popular charity golf program the Art of Driving Charity Golf Benefit." Jim Williams, New Milford Lion member, New Milford VNA Board Member and Tournament Chairman presented a check from Chrysler to Andrea Wilson, Executive Director of the New Milford VNA.

This years tournament was held on July 13th at Silo Ridge Country Club in Armenia New York. Southworth Chrysler supplied vehicles for the golfers and guests to test drive at their convenience throughout the day. For every test drive completed at the tournament, Chrysler made a $5 donation to the New Milford Lions Club. A gift of golf balls were given to each driver as a Thank You" for participating.

Art of Driving charity tournaments are mutually beneficial," explained Jim Williams, the dealer principal of Southworth Chrysler. The New Milford Lions Club and the New Milford VNA were able to raise additional funds and we were pleased to promote our products through a program that supports such worthwhile organizations.
